Our prayers and support goes to the family and friends. God bless each of you.
William was an inspiration to all who truly knew him. I had the pleasure of being MC at the memorial day and veteran day services for ten years. I always looked forward to Williams speech and he always delivered. I choked back many tears as he spoke of sacrifice and patriotism and the love he had for our country. William was a decorated true war hero who rescued many of his fellow soldiers on one operation in Vietnam and like most of us Vietnam vets believed in the reasons he was there. GOD and Country truly sum up his beliefs and more importantly for William it was LOVE of Family. Go rest high on the mountain my friend. Your service here is over. Well done and I salute you brother. GOD has a better place for you.
Mrs. Perkins, William was one in a million. He had true compassion and love for all, especially veterans. William will be missed by all whose life he touched. Our prayers are with you and your family. May the peace that only comes from God be with you.
