Shirley;
Our sincere condolences to you,Geoffrey and Ello.
Thank you for the loving care you gave to Bobby Grantin the time you were together. I know that you will miss him, as we will. He was a great friend as well as a great person to work for/with during our years with Sedco. He had a good life and he is now resting easy.

Shirley:
You know Bobby Grant was my best friend. I love him as though he was my own blood. He and I had so many good times business and pleasure together. I will miss him greatly.
I believe everyone that ever crossed his path liked and admired him as a man. He was a people person who always saw the best in people and did his best to bring it out of them.
From the time I met him I valued his opinion on all things. He helped me so much as a man and as a manager of business. His wisdom was great.
I know that he is in heaven now and resting peacefully.
He was also a blessed man: He had you in his life for 28 +/- years. Especially these last few. You were the best caretaker of a sick man that I have ever seen. You made an unbeliveable difference to his last years by the way you cared for, nurtured and loved him. I am surprised that your angel wings do not show.
Love, Mike##imported-begin##Mike Parrish##imported-end##
Dear Shirley,
I was so sad about the death of our dear Sedco friend, Bobby. He was such a dear man, and I enjoyed knowing him for so many years. I have always enjoyed seeing you, Shirley. You are a strong and very special lady. What a coincidence, that we lost Bobby and Jerry at about the same time. Bet they are up there right now sharing all kinds of funny stories about the many times they were together. We will miss them both. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time.

1982 was the first time I had to the pleasure to meet Grant. It was in Scotland. He made sure that it was one of the best trips you could possibly have plus he liked scotch. Got to love him just for that.Has been one of my favorite men since first meeting him. Outstanding person. He will be missed. Shirley, Geoffry, Ello and family,
Words cannot express my feelings and sincere condolences from Ali and me. We pray for God's Blessings to comfort you all, and also the enormous "extended family", whose lives and hearts have been touched through the years by Mr. Cox. He was checking up on me before I was born and he remained a guiding light throughout. He was that "uncle", that "grandpa", and that "special mentor" I could go to for his wise, understanding and loving guidance. Growing up with him, I could cry, laugh and get an understanding hug. I always enjoyed his stories about my dad and WWII. He influenced me to become a Marine. I feel that my family and all our Sedco and Schlumberger friends have been honored by his presence. I will miss him. "Sempi Fi"##imported-begin##Joel Matthew Parrish##imported-end##
