Dear Laura and Debra, I am not sure you remember us but we were friends with your parents in Odessa for many years. We use to play bridge with them every Friday or Saturday night with a club we both belonged to. Your father and I had a lot of things in common while growing up in Odessa. He helped me once when my daughter Janine needed a rent house in Longview for about two months until their plumbing was repaired in their home. He provided one. Janine was most impressed I could get that handled long distance. The last time I heard from your Dad was just before he moved back to Longview. He told me he found my book in a bookstore in Huntsville and bought it and read it. It is all baout my life in my seventy five years when I wrote the book. Later he sent it to Bob Hammon in Dallas, a mutual friend. Bob even told me how much he enjoyed it. I just wanted to say how sorry we were to hear of his passing and also your mother's passing a few years ago. We always thought a lot of them for may years.Sincerely, Emil and Dale Beck##imported-begin##Emil and Dale Beck##imported-end##
