William (Bill) E. Oldendorff's Obituary
William E. (Bill) Oldendorff passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 31st. He was born in Rosario Argentina. At 23 years old, he realized his dream of coming to this country. He was so proud of all his accomplishments, working hard at Carpenter Technology in N.J. and Longview: Alcare Corporation in Illinois and Vertex and General Dynamics in Longview from where he retired. At his retirement, he happily volunteered many hours at Longview Regional and at the Police Station where he was very much appreciated. But his pride and joy was his family, his wife Maria Elena of 53 years, his children W. Paul Oldendorff and his wife Annemarie, his daughter Mariel Evens and husband Jeff and his beloved grandchildren Julia, Ellie, and Max He was a quiet, humble, gentle man that was so loved by his family and will be missed by more than words can say.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Friday June 2,2017 from 6pm to 8pm.
