I remember the first time I visited your house in Naperville. Your father offered to show me around, and after pointing out the living room, dining room, kitchen, he asked if I wanted to see the grounds. I agreed, and he held the front door open for me. Then he slammed it and locked me out. :)
Great guy. He'll be missed. So sorry for your loss, and the loss to the whole world.
I am so sorry for your loss. Bill is one of my favorite people in this world. He was always so kind to me when I worked for him. He treated me so fairly. I have so many fond memories of him. He adored his family. He will be greatly missed. God bless. Sincerely, Angie Bockmon.
Thinking of you all with so many wonderful memories to draw upon! I'll share more in my notes to you all. With much love, xoxo Deb Pollard
Today and always, may your memories bring you peace during this difficult time and always.

Loved this man. Always requesting a banana cream pie. He was one of the best people I know. Always always got my first Christmas card from Bill O. Really will miss this wonderful man.
One of my favorite memories as a child was when mom and dad said "we're going to visit the Oldendorfs"! Even now, a few decades later, it brings a smile to my face. Bill and Marie Elena were always so wonderful and welcomed us with open arms and hearts. When they surprised us with a visit to Gary's a couple of years ago, I couldn't have been happier. I am so grateful for the time we had together that weekend. My heart is saddened at the loss of Bill but the love and kindness he shared will live on forever. My love goes out to Marie Elena, Paul and Mariel - your husband/dad was one of a kind!

Maria Elena, Paul ,Mariel and family,
Words don't come easy but the memories keep flowing with all love that has been shared over the years spending time with each others family .I first remember going to visit Bill Maria Elena Paul and Mariel in NJ .It was quite a difference for us coming from a farm to the city and we were always welcomed with more than open arms. Bill was always busy doing the outdoor chores with the car and taking pride in his work. .It seemed like no detail was left behind. While playing hard Maria Elena made sure we all were taken care of to clean us all up after and wow did we get treated to her fine cooking ! I was also able to stay with Bill and Maria Elena during our trip to Texas around 1990. It was always such a treat to stay there because Bill and Maria always treated us like royalty. The latest was a skype being able to talk with Bill and Maria and I was so happy to see them both, so happy and full of questions about all of us and sharing family activities. He knew I still had the country in me by still living in the back country and am sure he would had loved to visit .I will deeply miss his love for adventure and excitement but he will always be an inspiration to me. With Love ,David Pollard
Our loving Bill has passed, but our memories of him will last a lifetime. He was caring and giving beyond belief. He gave his time and love to so many and was always there for the Pollard family. Many good times were had taking early trips to New Jersey to see their family (that was about as far as we could travel when growing up on a farm....lol), but they also would visit us whenever they could. More recently they have lived in Texas and we have missed having more frequent visits. But the emails with old pictures and love never stopped being shared. We will miss our wonderful relative, Bill Oldendorff.
