Services for William "Bill" Fisher, 76, of Longview will be held in Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at noon. Burial will be at the Marble Falls City Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Marb Read Obituary
Dear Johnette and Carol Jo and family,
I just read Bill's obituary online, and my heart goes out to you. Clarence and I enjoyed visiting with you when "our paths crossed" after the good years at Oakland Heights. The grandchildren are fortunate to have his books to remember their unique grandfather as they grow up.

Mr. Bill was a blessing to me. He always a story to share and the stories were usually about his family. He truly loved all of you and it shown in his face each time he would speak of you: The Queen. He was my friend and I will miss him. Thank you for sharing him.

I will be unable to attend the service for Bill, due to further neterioration of my legs because of my MS. You have been a dear friend for many years now, with your having worked with P.O. for such a long period of time. With the loss of P.O. last year, then now your Bill, we will both be without our companions of many years. Bill will now be wrapped in the blessed arms of Jesus. I know that eh was a truly fine man. May you be sustained with love from your family and a host of friends. How kind and comforting you were to me and my family last year during the loss of our loved one. You have always been great fun to be with and most caring and kind. Know that you are loved and are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. "Uncle" Bill was always so funny! I met all of ya'll at Mrs. Hemenway's service in October 2005. I always wanted to hear him play his music. I know there are no words that will bring comfort. My heart and my prayers go out to you all!

You and Bill made me feel welcome when we moved into the neighborhood. Bill was so excited to have a fellow fisherman move in next door. We had a lot of good times working on projects around our homes. Great fishing trips on Montecello, Cherokee and Lake Fork! You have my deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow!

Sorry I will not be able to attend the services. I know you and Bill understand. Bill would have enjoyed fishing the Wyoming mountain streams and lakes with me -- I enjoyed the many fishing and visiting times we had together. He was and you are special to me. May God Bless you indeed during these next few days, weeks and months as you adjust. I know his spirit is enjoying the new surroundings with our Lord. Bill Fisher's death is a personal loss to me. Johnette and I have been close friends over 40 years. I will miss visiting with Bill. He was a moral person with strong opinions of what is right and wrong in our society. Bill will be greatly missed. God bless Johnette, Carol Jo and grandchildren.
