Wayne was a friend at work who was always helpful. I knew he was a spiritual man from the way he sliced and spoke. I could always depend on him for answers at work. Axelson was a better company because of Wayne Perry. His memorial thoughts at John Kelley's funeral were significant and a reflection of Wayne's faith and friendship.

Uncle Wayne was one of the most kind and giving people I have ever had the privilege to know. He had what so many people profess or wish to have. He had Grace and lived and walked with it. I count several people whom I truly wished I could be like , but no one has the same relationship with the Lord like Wayne Perry. Anyone who knew him knows he has earned his spot in heaven by his works, faith and deeds. Many of which he would never discuss or take credit for. He wanted no adulation or credit. He only wanted to serve and be the best servant he could be.
