We were so sorry to read of Wayne's passing. Just as his had, my Wayne's bad health kept him away from the Auctions; therefore, we hadnot seen Wayne for quite a while. Wayne Smith was a good & kind person, who always was truthful in his dealings with us and other dealers. Definitely not your common used-car dealer! Dear Gail:
I am so sorry for your loss of Wayne. When I saw you in the pharmacy a few weeks ago, I had no ideal that Wayne was in poor health. I will remember him, especially that "crushing" handshake that he always extended to me. I felt at a loss when we no longer worked together. This afternoon, my daughter was dipping up some ice cream and said, "where did you get this ice cream scoop?" I said, "Wayne Smith gave it to me when we worked downtown on the hill." I have has that scooper since the early 80's. I am grateful to have known Wayne. One thing to remember, please call if I can ever help.
