I have pleasant memories of time spent with Wanda at school, on the bus, taking piano lessons & practicing for recitals. Was it really over 50 years ago? It was good to reconnect with her at HHS 50th Reunion.

We were saddened to learn of Wanda's call to heaven. We will miss her greatly and cherish the memories of working with her and the times with the Quarter Century Meetings. Our prayers and sympathies are exended to Bob and family members in this time of sorrow.##imported-begin##Norman & Gladyne Hluchan##imported-end##
I met Wanda on a bus trip from Tyler to Dallas, with the Single Adults Club. We immediately became friends; but that's not unlike Wanda. She had a unique way of immediately "lighting up" that made you feel so warm and comfortable.
I introduced her to her husband Bob, but when she called me two weeks later to tell me they were getting married, I couldn't believe it. I tried my best to talk her out of it, but she, of course, knew exactly what was good for her, and she spent a lot of years loving that man and his children.
I've never known a better Christian; she would make a great poster girl for those of us who call ourselves followers of Christ.
In recent years we touched base again after I moved back to the area, and I'm so glad we did.
I loved her, and still do. I'm sure she's with the Master now, smiling down on us, saying "Y'all should just SEE it up here!", smiling from ear to ear.##imported-begin##Martha Boothe##imported-end##
