Wanda Joyce Densman's Obituary
Wanda Joyce Densman passed away in her home in White Oak, Texas on September 23, 2020, at the age of 66.
She was born September 23, 1954 in Longview, Texas. She attended Kilgore ISD, was a member of the high school band and was an outstanding drum majorette. She also attended Kilgore College prerequisite to plans for medical school, when life got in the way.
Wanda loved her family and had a passion for music. She will be remembered for her beautiful voice and the fun she brought to any gathering. Wanda loved her family dearly and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, James Randolph “Randy” and Evelyn Densman, her brothers, Charles Densman, James Densman, Jr. and Richard Densman, her sister Virginia Lee Densman and her beautiful daughter, Randi Spicer.
She is survived by her daughter , Rachel Spicer, of White Oak, two sons, Ralph Spicer, Jr. and Darren Spicer and daughter, Michelle Spicer of Porter, Texas, along with her precious grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is also survived by 3 sisters, Mellye Darden, Mary Cline, Elizabeth Fulton, and brother Bob (Nelda) Densman.
Wanda will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Wanda was a medical transcriptionist for 30 years, working at various acute care hospitals all over the country.
Wanda loved music ...singing and playing the guitar. She and her brother, Richard, sang and played their guitars entertaining friends and family with their country music
Graveside services will be Monday, September 28, at 2:00 pm at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore.
