Walter Roland Evans' Obituary
Walter Roland Evans, of Longview, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022. Walter was born December 2, 1929, in Plainview, Arkansas, to James and Lorene (Pelt) Evens. Walter married Catherine Little, and they lived in Garland, Texas before moving to Longview.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Henry Evens, and one great-grandchild Jessup Sanders.
Walter is survived by his wife Catherine, son Albert Evans and his wife Gena, and son Charles Evans. He is also survived by his granddaughter Lisa and husband David Crabb; as well as four great-grandchildren; Ty, Coy, Mason, and Robert; and two sisters, Geraldine Goodin and Lillian George.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday, January 28, 2022, at Sachse Cemetery in Sachse, Texas. An online guest book may be signed at www.raderfh.com
