Funeral services for Virginia Faye Moore, 89, of Henderson, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Henderson with Rev. Bill Tisdale officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park under the Read Obituary

Faye was a dedicated loving and committed Christian, who truly loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She will be missed as a dear friend, who cared about the welfare of others.Buckner Baptist Children's Home was a benefactor of her love and desire to help homeless and needy children and families. We will miss her from this life on earth, but we are comforted that she is now well and very happy in the presence of God.

We were so sorry to hear of Faye's death. She was so dear to us and provided us guidance and support when we were unable to have children. She was a great part our lives when our son, Jacob, was born and continued to be a part of our lives over past 10 years. Jacob loved her yard and going to share her birthday with her!
