I have many fond memories of Virginia, not only as a teacher, but as a family friend. She and my mother, Dorothy Erisman, were good friends. They always enjoyed "comparing notes" about Jim and Don, and my brother, Fred. I shall never forget Virginia's patience with me as a math student! I was saddened to read in the paper last night of Virginia's death. I am out of town or I would be there. My thoughts and prayers are with Virginia's family at this sad time.
