Mr. Mauldin, Griff, & Family,

My family and I are deeply saddend by the news of your family's loss. I understand how difficult this time will be for you. We are praying for you and your family that God will strengthen, encourage, support, and share His tremendous love and peace with your family during this difficult time. We pray that God will share His perfect will with you now, and in the future. I think I can tell you that time doesn't heal the pain, but it does make it easier to bear. The verse that I have always held onto is Proverbs 3:5-6. We never know why things happen, but it is comforting to have a personal relationship with the one who truly does know and care about why things happen.

Griff and family,
From the few times we were honored to spend time with Verna and Phillip here in FL, it became easy to see why they had such a great son. Verna was even more beautiful on the inside than the outside and that was because Jesus was easily seen in her character, actions, and the words she spoke. Her hope was a Living Hope in Christ and that was always seen in her tender smile. She was a model for her family and others alike. We share in your grief, but we also rejoice in her celebration! Our prayers remain.
