Verdue Hardin
Services for Verdue Hardin , 78, of Tyler will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Longview with the Reverend Carol Petty officiating. Burial will follow at noon at Cathedral In The Pines Cemetery in Tyler. Mrs. Hardin, a former resident of Longview, died Monday evening at Hospice of East Texas.
She was born July 1, 1928 in Crowville, Louisiana to Jake and Florence Busby Netherland. Verdue and her husband, Bob, moved to Longview in 1984 where she was co-owner of Hardin?s True-Value Hardware for 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Longview.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob Hardin of Tyler; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Karen Hardin of North Port, Florida and Steve and Jill Hardin of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Cliff Adams of Tyler; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 906 Padon, Longview, TX 75601.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. in Longview, Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
