Dear friends,
We met Tyson several times when we visited Jeanette & Matt and attended your church with Ron & Gail. We were so sorry to hear about Tyson's death, but were thrilled that so many people came to his memorial service and that Ron was the speaker! We pray that even still people will choose to put their trust in Jesus Christ as a result of knowing Tyson and hearing what Ron said. Our hearts ache for you...both of us lost our first spouses by death; my husband was 34; Truett's first wife was 29. We don't know how long we'll live, but we need to "work while it is still day" as the Bible says. My first husband loved Jesus and was a quiet man, a hard worker at church and for the Lord. There were hundreds at his memorial service, too, and he touched more people through his death than he could have ever touched through his life. We know that Tyson's influence will continue for years and years. Thank you for raising such a fine son! We have been, and will continue to pray for God's strong arms to wrap around you and keep you close...##imported-begin##Rev. & Mrs. Truett Johnson##imported-end##
