I remember trying to go to work with Uncle T.W., but they didn't hire relatives. I really remember being with him in 1992 with Mother.

I had the honor of meeting Tom and working with him at Eastman in Polyethylene Maintenance. I am out of town and just learned about Tom's death but I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy to the family. I have wonderful memories from our days working together in the mainenance shop. Tom was full of mischief to say the least. Although I didn't personally know the rest of the family, Tom talked about Frances, Barry, Debbie and the others so often that I felt as if I knew everyone. It was a pleasure to know Mr. Swinney and have him as our neighbor. He was always cheerful and loved having us over to chat. The kids loved to wave at him as he swept off the driveway or walked to get the mail. He will be missed greatly by our family.
