Trent Hepler
Trent Hepler went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2010 doing what was second nature for him, helping others. Trent was a loving and caring husband, father, and son. He loved people and life. His Christianity was apparent in all that he did. His happiest days of his adult life were being married to Alycia and a father to Trey, Bryce and Kalyn. When not at work he was found coaching his sons' soccer or baseball teams. He also enjoyed refereeing basketball and hunting.
Trent was born in Longview, Texas. He attended Oak Forest Montessori as a preschooler. From first through twelfth grade, he attended PTISD. While in high school, Trent was a Buc and the Pirate mascot. He played basketball, ran cross country, and was a photographer for the annual staff. While attending Kilgore College, he served as a Rangerette manager. Later, he attended Sam Houston State University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, served as president of the Inter Fraternal Council, and graduated with a bachelor's in Kinesiology. During his lifetime, he was employed by Lowe's, Tractor Supply, Farmer's Insurance Agency, and was currently employed by Republic National Distributing Center as an outside sales representative.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buck and Doris Hepler and Ross and Betty Ruchti.
Trent is survived by his wife, Alycia Marie Adams Hepler, children Trey Payne, Bryce Clayton Payne, and Kalyn Marie Hepler; parents Ron and Kay Hepler, all of Longview; sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Cliff Hall; niece Katy Hall; nephews Joey and Joshua Hall, of Flint, TX. Mother and father-in-law Debbie and Rusty Adams, of Bella Vista, AR. Sister and brother-in-law Windy and Jay Cooper and nephews Riley, Camden, and Carson Cooper, of Van Alstyne, TX and brother-in-law Billy Adams of Bella Vista, AR.
Visitation will be at Rader Funeral on Friday, November 5, from 6-8. The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 2:00 at Fellowship Bible Church. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.
