Oh my! I left you a message on Facebook about a week ago because I have had you and Tommy on my mind. Did not hear from you so I decided to google Tommy Earl to find your phone number and that is where I saw the listing of his obit. I am so saddened by this news. Kevin and I have so many wonderful memories of Tommy as he was one of the first persons we met so many years ago. We were so young, newly married and so far from home when we moved to Hide-a-way Lake, but he welcomed us with open arms. We loved him immediately and were so happy when he told us he had met this girl in Hawaii...and the rest is history. We loved our time with both of you and miss you. I am so sorry that we did not know about his passing. We would have made the trip out for the services. If you get a chance, please call me or message me on Facebook.

Tommy was a well liked man here at Ca. Bank and Trust and as well as a wonderful brother in Christ to my co-worker Jaymi and I when we all attended church together many years ago in Indian Wells, CA.
Tommy and his partner at Auto on the Mall helped also my husband and I when we needed a good used car and he dealt with us in an honest and highly respectful manner. Tommy was always quick with a kind word, a funny story and a good ol' Texas boy sayin' or two! (or three!)
Tommy was also a really good 'hugger' and a good encourager and always cared about us at here at the bank. He was also very supportive of the choir my husband and I sang in for many years and Tommy just plain old had a heart of gold!
Please know Nancy (and TJ) that you will be in my prayers and it will be a true joy when we ALL finally get to Heaven and get to spend some good time with your good man!!!

Nancy, I am so sad that we lost our sweet Tommy..he reminds me of my Dad Mac...so gentle, funny, the brightest, sweetest smile and always giving those tight hugs. I will forever remember the driving lessons in the Regal at 12 years old, staying with you guys in Tyler for tennis tournaments and you letting me borrow your amazing, expensive tennis clothes! I had such a wonderful time staying with you both and love the memories of you and Tommy. Please let us know if we can do ANYTHING at all. I would love to see you next time we are in Austin..we get there a few times a year. I was blessed to know Tommy through junior high and high school when we competed against each other, then at Baylor we were teammates. I never knew a more courageous and cheerful and positive person than Tommy. He set the standards very high. I will always remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to all the family.
