Bro.Marshall was my pastor at 7th and Main Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas in the 1960s and early 1970s. He baptized me in the late 1960s. He was the best preacher I've ever heard anytime, anywhere. I had the privilege of re-connecting with him in the 1990s. He graciously asked me to preach at his church for special services. A great man. An inspirational man. Although I haven't seen Mike, David, or Paul in decades, I hope the best for them and their families.
Bro. Tommy was deeply loved by the women of Christian Women's Job Corps of Rusk County.

Tommy will be greatly missed. What he accomplished in his life in service to the Lord will continue to pay dividends for years to come. Tommy and Eastside Baptist church stood strong in our efforts to raise the money to build the chapel at Bradshaw Prison. Tommy and his congregation understood the importance of reaching this almost 2000 men with the only thing that would change their lives. To not only make a difference in their mis-guided lives but to the benefit of their families and for the safety of all of us who drive the highways of Texas. Most of these guys are there due to alcohol or drugs and this is what most will return too if something does not break that cycle. The only thing that works is the Word of God. Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Thank you Tommy Marshall
