Tiny Elizabeth Wilson's Obituary
A memorial service for Tiny Elizabeth Wilson, 80, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Jimmy Rogers officiating. Mrs. Wilson passed away Tuesday night in a local nursing home. The family will receive friends following the service.
Tiny was born on August 9, 1932 in Douglas, TX to Robert and Lila Rogers. She loved sewing for her grandchildren and gardening. Some of the things she enjoyed were growing included African Violets, and Easter and Christmas Cacti. She loved canning vegetables from their garden and making all kinds of jellies. She was also an avid reader and loved quilting. She worked for many years as the office manager for Dr. Dennis McAfee. She was married for nearly 65 years to the love of her life, Willie Samuel Wilson, JR, who passed away on October 09, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Patricia Ann Wilson; her grandson Brandon Lynn Wilson; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Joe and Leta Wilson, and Robert Darrell and Janet Wilson; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Faye Tate of Nacogdoches, TX, Erma Breaux of Crowley, LA, and Linda Consford of Nacogdoches, TX.
