My dear friends Cherry and Carla i am so very sorry for your loss. I know God will see you through this. He is safe in the arms of Jesus. Cherry i miss you and love you my forever friend. Jan Stephens
Dear Carla ~ It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from the loss of your Father, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.
As hard as it seems, you will get through this difficult time and emerge stronger. We are always around to help you through this trying period.

Cherry, Carla, Julie, Roger and extended family,
Gene could not have had better care givers or a more loving family. You guys have been amazing. I know there is a big hole in all of your hearts, but he will continue to live through your memories and stories. And oh the stories you have shared have brought many smiles to me. Give Cherry and Salty a hug for me I know they are going to miss their best friend. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during the days ahead.
Love you
Pat & Greg
Cherry and Carla,
I just learned about Gene's death and want to extend sincere sympathy from all my family to yours. I have so many fond memories of Gene and Cherry and the Grigsby brothers and sisters.
I wish we could be there for the funeral but won't be able to.
Carla, I so appreciated your condolences on Linda's obituary page when she died in February.
May God be with all of you at this difficult time. Please know that we love you

Carla, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I have never met either of your parents, but feel like I know them because of all the wonderful stories you have shared with me. You have been such a big help to both of your parents and you can be sure that they have appreciated you. I know how hard this must be for you, but please know you did everything humanly possible to make your Dad's life as comfortable as possible until the very end. I am sure that he and your Mom both knew that. You have been a wonderful daughter to them both! He will be missed...

Even after all these years in the business I know that there is still nothing I can say that will ease your pain. As my grandma once said, we never "get over" the loss of a loved one, but we do learn to live with it. Some people choose to mourn a passing - others prefer to celebrate a life. In regards to Mr Grigsby, try to focus on the celebration because we all know that he is in a far better place than he has been recently. Y'all are in my thoughts. Love you guys.
