Graveside services for Thelma Nadine Causey, 86, of Gilmer formerly a long time resident of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock AM Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Grace Hill Cemetery with her son Robert Causey conducting the service. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Causey passed away on Saturday May 9, 2009 in Gilmer.
She was born December 4, 1922 in Durant, Oklahoma to Robert and Pearl Wedge Young. She had lived in Longview for a number of years prior to moving to Gilmer. She worked as a Secretary for Longview Independent School District for Twenty years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. Causey and wife Ann of Durham, New Hampshire, two grandchildren, Courtney Causey and Kristin Maroun, eight great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mildred Campbell of Dallas.
She was preceded in death be her husband Joe Causey, her parents and two brothers, daughter-in-law, Barbara Lyles Causey.
