Mary Jane Bowles
My parents, Bill and Mary Stanton, were close friends with T.S.and Nell. I remember spending happy times with them on the farm - T.S. taught me to milk a cow, feed the pigs - Nell made butter and the best buttermilk. We enjoyed eating outside at the wooden cable spool table. My brother, Larry, and Temple, caught crawdads, got in trouble together, and had fun with old Tut, the dog. I always loved Temple's big smile. I am so glad for good times with the Carpenter family. I am happy to learn of your extended family. Emma was wonderful to stay in touch with my mother, especially after my dad died. I will always remember the warmth and kindness shared with my family - and the humor. Mary Jane Stanton Bowles
