So sorry to hear about Susan. She always had a quick smile and a friendly greeting each time I would see her. She was a sweet person, and my children enjoyed her as a teacher. I also enjoyed teaching with her in Atlanta ISD, as well as having her as a member of our First United Methodist Church Family in Atlanta. Our prayers are with you Tommy, David, and Family. My condolences to Mrs. Ellison's family and friends. Mrs. Ellison was my 9th and 10th grade English teacher at Marshall High School after integration in the early 1970s. I remember her as being strict, but fair. I became an English teacher and there were times, we'd visit at conferences. RIP, Mrs. Ellison.
She was one of my favorite teachers!! Such a wonderful person. Prayers for her family!!
Susan will be missed. We will always remember her sweet smile and her contagious
laugh. She was a great teacher and a caring person. We are praying for David, Rebekah, Tommy and her sweet grandchildren Caleb and Emily. May all your memories give you peace.
Tommy,
You are on our hearts and in our prayers,
She was such a sweet and precious lady.
She always had a beautiful smile and a kind word.
Love,
Dennis and Stacey Beckham and family
I believe I was in the first class Mrs. Ellison taught at Marshall High School. I was lucky to have her for English and French. I have been out of school a long time, but she made an impression on me. She was young and "cool" and didn't let the rowdy football boys take control. I'd like her family to know that she had a lasting legacy and I wish them peace during this time of loss.
Susan, you will be missed. Bob & Deborah Berry
