I am deeply saddened to hear of Stephens passing. I have many fond memories of his sharp wit and special smile both at JMS and LHS. You are missed, Stephen. Your family is in our prayers each day.

He was one of my best friends. We spent days and weeks and entire
summers together playing as kids and enjoying the better things in life.
I have so many memories from my childhood in which Stephen is a part
of. Just the other day - prior to finding this out I shared a story
about Stephen and I with my own children. My biggest regret is not
staying close to him after I married and moved on with my life. Stephen
motivated me to take Advanced classes in school - and to compete in
different readings most notably Abe Lincoln's Gettysburgh Address in
Middle School. We played on the Judson Middle School tennis team
together and all in all - just lived life to the best. My heart is
broken, and my demeanor is sad - but I know Stephen that you are in a
better place. You will be missed even all the way out here in Arizona!!

The things I remember most about him were his wonderful sense of humor, his intelligence, his impeccable acting abilities, and of course his love of music. He will surely be missed.

Your charm, wit, intelligence and artistic turns in several directions were appreciated. Anyone that animals and children love is a good soul and you were. God will welcome you and in his arms may you find there what was missing in this life. Stephen tutored students who were working to get their GED and helped many to achieve this goal. He was a very positive force in their lives. My prayer is that you will know that you were loved.
