Spencer Bryan's Obituary
LONGVIEW– Spencer Price Bryan made the transition to God's eternal presence on December 7, 2009. The funeral will be Friday, December 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Bible Church, 1208 Rodden, Longview. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home.
Born November 4, 1927, he served in the US Navy and received a Presidential Citation. He earned several degrees and was a Certified Public Accountant. He served in the United States General Accounting Office as an auditor. He was the Chief Financial Officer for the United Nation's Pan-American Health Organization.
He was a Peace Corp volunteer, a member of Gideons International, audited numerous Christian missions, was a Trustee/Elder at Pinecrest Bible Church, and Advisory Board Member of Missionary TECH Team.
He loved puzzles, playing bridge, classical music and traveling. Most vital: he was saved by God's grace in 1972.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Frizzell.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Bryan; brothers Donald and Barry Bryan; sisters Naomi Snook and Beverly Schafer; children Donna Collins, Joy Oliver, Mike Frizzell, Bill Hawkins, Cindy Woods, Pamela Kay Thomas, Holly C. Boesch; twenty-four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many loving friends.
