Sid Cordell's Obituary
Memorial services for Sid Cordell , 53, of Longview will be 10 AM Friday, October 28th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Ms Jan Dittmar officiating. Mr. Cordell died Monday, October 24th in Longview. He was born August 18, 1952 in Longview to Floyd and Lucy Allen Cordell. Sid was a graduate of Pine Tree High School and was the former owner of Cordell Glass Co.
Sid loved life and living in the country and was fond of hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed all types of music but especially, country music and liked to play the harmonica and guitar. One of his favorite pastimes was outdoor cooking and grilling for his family. Sid is survived by his wife, Judy of Longview; son, Thomas Cordell of Longview; Daughter, Sydney Cordell of Longview; son, Bala Cordell of Longview; daughter, Kathryn Cordell of Longview; grandchildren: Adrian, Colin, and Eden; sisters: Nancy Timmons of Denton, Judy Draper of Mineral Wells, and Mary Johnson of Odessa.
