Roy and family of Shirley LeTourneau --

This news reached me Wednesday morning in Lima. When I shared with Dolly Vargas de Gutiérrez (wife of Pastor Juan), she gasped: We were just praying for her this morning in the united ladies' meeting.

Then, today (Friday) here in Pucallpa, I called Ruben Calderón to see if the news reached here. His response was:_ Oh yes, sister, we are in mourning services for her at church (the one in front of the public clock).

Here in Radio Maranatha we're thanking God for all of the LeTourneau family and praising Him for His UNIQUE dealings here in PERU because of each of you who have participated in obedience to God's leading.

We know that you know how to receive our Lord's confort in this time of separation, so we just thank the Lord for each of you and pray that His NAME will continue to be raised throughout this land and on to far reaches of the globe.

Brenda and Dr. Dan, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She had to have been a wonderful Godly woman and she's rejoicing with the angels now at the feet of her Saviour. I know you will miss her and we will pray for your familly that John 14's Comforter will abide with you all in the days ahead.You two have been such amazing friends to my family, David, Bethany, Ella and Eli. My earliest memory of Aunt Shirley was me visiting grandma and the Stansfields on Evelyn Drive. Aunt Shirley and I were creating a cross-word puzzle, and I remember her being so kind and interested in my desire to learn and be creative.
