Sebron Smith
Funeral services for Sebron Smith, 81, of Longview will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010, at the Judson First Baptist Church in Longview with the Reverend Jim Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born August 24, 1928 in Spotsville, AR to Sidney and Annie Smith. He had been a resident of Longview since 1955, moving from Smackover, AR. He was retired from the Railroad as a maintenance supervisor and a member of the Judson First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters and sons-in-law, Misty and Jon Mark Fowler of Midlothian, TX and Debra and Ricky Langford of Hallsville, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Sebron Allen and Tracey Smith of San Antonio, TX; and 7 grandchildren, Emily, Ezrie and Erin Gates, Rachel Fowler, and Caroline, Meghan and Wyatt Smith; and brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Barbara Smith of Magnolia, AR.
