Sebron Smith Funeral services for Sebron Smith, 81, of Longview will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010, at the Judson First Baptist Church in Longview with the Reverend Jim Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewo Read Obituary
I only met Mr. Sebron a few times but I know the man well. Allen has shared many stories about his dad. Smitty, I will never look at an old washing machine and not think of your dad. I pray that God allows me to be half the man Mr. Smith was and that my boys love me and are proud enough to share stories of me with their friends. Smitty, my heart aches for you and your family. Sebron & Virginia were my Sunday School teachers back when I was a teenager and we all attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Smackover, Arkansas and they were also our neighbors. Two more precious people you would never meet. They are both together in the Lord's care today and we miss them, but know that they are in the

You know that your Mom and Dad both were so very special to all of us. We are so sorry for your loss. There is rejoicing in heaven with them together again. I can see him smiling and I can hear her infectious laughter. Sometimes I miss all of that so much. They both enriched our lives so deeply. Taught us about true love, what marriage should be, how to care for others, the list could go on and on. We regret that we could not be there to honor Seb today. We prayed for you all. We love all of you.

Both Sebron and Virginia were amazing people. They babysat me when I was younger and even though I was little, they made such an impression on me I remember certain things about them. For example, I remember their house and playing with Deborah's old toys. My mother tells me how Papa Seb used to give me Coca Cola in my bottle. Such good memories.
