Such a lovely, fun person to work with; you will be missed by all the people who's lives you touched. I will never forget the wonderful years with you at Mozelle. Rest in Peace sweet lady.

Barely out of college and a beginning teacher, Our Lord blessed me with the most wonderful classroom----Right across the hall from Sarah, Georgene, Patsy, and Joan!!! How could anyone ever have asked for better mentors and friends! They helped me through my husband's accident and celebrated when we found out our sweet Josh was to be born. I owe some much to all four of them. Sarah gave me a love for science that continues today! Love you so much!
From the Garth Brooks song…
If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her...
What I know for sure is that Sarah was loved by many around her.
Her spirit touched many and her quick wit will not be forgotten.
She is now with her husband in complete joy and happiness - loved ever more.
May peace and comfort find the Bridges' family during this difficult time.
God Bless
- Paul Williams
I loved going to work at Mozelle Johnston when Sarah was our principal. She truly loved the staff and the children and we knew it. We remained friends after she retired. She was always an inspiration to me. I am so happy that God placed her in my life.

I will miss Sarah's sweet smile and fighting spirit. The wonderful words she said to me during my battle with cancer have stayed with me and I think of them often. They truly saved me during my darkest moments. Her strength, sense of humor and kindness towards all were truly inspirational. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
What a blessing it was to all of us to have known Sarah. She brought a sense-of - humor like no other. And yes, she was beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. I taught with her while she was in the Pine Tree ISD and we all learned and laughed with her.
I trust you each, her family, will find peace and comfort from God as you continue your lives without her special "spark".
My sincere sympathy to each of you.

I knew Mrs, Bridges when my son Michael Johnston was a student at Mozelle Johnston. I enjoyed working with her through PTA and volunteering at the school. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time

I saw Sarah at our 50th class reunion and thought she was the prettiest lady there. She was pretty both inside and out! My sincere sympathy to her family.
