Sandra Kay Adkisson Graveside services for Sandra Kay Adkisson, 64, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in Gum Springs Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM Monday, September 10, 2007 at the funeral home. Mrs. Adkisson was born on August 27, 1943 in Longview to Elvin and Mozell Hughes. She passed away on Saturday morning, September 8, 2007 in a Longview hospital. A lifelong relative of Longview, she worked as a Corrections Officer for the Texas Department of Corrections. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her cousins, Shawn Lee Smith and his wife Christi of Longview, and Shawn Marcus Smith and his wife Ashli of Longview. Other relatives include, Charlotte Shafer and family.
