I had the priviledge to work with Ms Adkisson for several years at the Johnston Unit in Winnsboro. She was a positive influence upon her fellow workers. I will miss her but I know she is in a better place with her dear Mother.##imported-begin##Boyce Stone##imported-end##

I was shocked to see Sandra was gone. I am sure she missed Mozell so badly. i have never seen a mother and daughter so close. I am glad they are together again. I worked with Sandra for nearly 8 years on second shift at the Johnston Unit. She was always quick with a smile or words of encouragement when one of us were down. She will be sorely missed. A funny anecdote: Sandra always kept her hair emacualtly "in place" and tell me when mine was mussed. the only time I ever saw her hair mussed, rain, shine, snow, sleet or dark of night was on her last day at work. It's a tradition to throw water on anyone leaving for good luck and she got a good wetting. It was the only time I ever saw that hair mussed up!
