Sam & my Dad [W. R. Shaw] met through their jobs, I've heard Dad talk about working with Sam to obtain land for laying oilfield pipelines for dad's employer American Liberty Pipeline Company. Many fold memories of their relationship. RIP Sam. You'll be missed.
Worked with Sam many years at TRRC in Kilgore. Knew his work and did it well. Loved his stories of the old oil field days.
Sam and I worked together for over 20 years. He was a great friend, employee, and mentor. He was quick to mention and speak fondly of his family. I could always depend on him. He will be missed.
