Funeral Services for Sammy Joe Manning, age 58, Henderson will be held at 2:00PM Monday November 13, 2006, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of
The Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Manning passed away Wednesday November 8, in Johnson City
Tennessee after a brief illness.
Mr. Manning was born June 20, 1948 in Sunray, Texas. He was a 1966
Graduate of Sunray High School, He also attend A.A.S. College. He served in the U.S. Army, in The Viet Nam War, where he was an E 5. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1997 where he worked as a mail carrier. Mr. Manning Loved to play golf, fish, but most of all he loved gardening, and
Growing flowers.
Surviors included his wife, Cindy Ann Manning of Henderson, 4 daughters,
Andrea R. Odom and Husband Shane of Henderson, and children
Kerrigan, Kathryn & Katelyn twins, and Brady Odom all of Henderson.
Daughter Michelle Lynn Labrier & husband Gary of Amarillo, and their
Children Brendan Van Deventer, Kelcie Crawford, and Hayden
Labrier, Daughter Shonda Kaye Westbrook and husband Brad of
Johnson City, Tennessee, and their children Braxton and Avery Westbrook.
Daughter Kimberly Ann Manning of Henderson. Sisters Patsy McKee and her husband Troy of Oklahoma, Donna Goldsmith and Kaye Holland
Both of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and many, many friends and family
In Henderson, Amarillo, Dumas, and Sunray Texas, and many friends in
Oklahoma
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Sunday night from
6:00 until 8:00PM
