Well, today sammy would have been 61 yrs. old. It still seems as though it were only yesterday that I was talking to him on the phone. I really miss you Sammy. It has been imth. since Sammy passed away, and I still ca' n't believe it. I had just talked to him that Thurs. nite and we kept telling each other we loved one another. I will miss Sammy, he was my favorite uncle. He used to take me places with him, even on some of his dates. I couldn't come to his funeral,but my heart was there. I will never forget the last time I saw him, somehow I knew it was the last time. But we hugged and told each other we loved one another. We both had tears in our eyes. To his family, I know you are hurting , but you had the privilage of a great, one of a kind Dad & husband. cherish your memories, that is what he would want, and enjoy life, he did.

Sam was such a wonderful man. I had such love and respect for him. He always brought such a bright smile with him when he came to visit my Momma. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss at Sam's passing. I worked with him at the Post Office and he just always had a great upbeat personality. He spoke often and fondly of his wife and family.
