Dear Wendy & Dawn,
It is with great sadness and disbelief that we write this. We keep hoping this is a bad dream that we will awake from.
We simply want to tell you how much we love you both. Your mother was an incredible woman and she shines through the both of you.
The past two weeks have been difficult for all. Yet, this has allowed us to see the inner strengths in each of you strengths that compliment each other ? where one is weak ? the other is strong. We are very proud of you.
As you go through difficult times, focus on the love of your family, the love of your sister, and your faith in God. These will sustain you. Take comfort in knowing that we will all be together in heaven. We know your mom is already there. If she could say something now, she would let you know that she is in a better place she might even let us know that heaven has cookies and candy.
Please remember that we can be there in a few hours. Please call us if you need anything.

How well I know the pain you are feeling and how the days to come will be difficult. Having lost my mother 3 years ago, I have been where you are and I know first hand how hard it can be. What gets us through is the love of Christ and His comfort and those He sends into our day to ease the pain one day at a time. Cast it all on Him and He will carry you through. Just hold tight to the fact that you WILL see her again and it will be in the light of Christ's love. If you need to talk, know that I am always available.
