Ronald Ron G. McFadden or as I called him “R.G.” was a dear and close friend of mine and I will miss him a great deal as time moves on. I am shocked, saddened, sickened, and angry at his passing as I try to remember and put to words some of the things that we experienced over the past 40 years together. RG was soft spoken with an East Texas drawl, always ready to listen to me and my problems usually about girls/women, ready to lend a helping hand, and a true friend. Ronnie was my best friend in high school. We shared many fun memories, drove our Sunday school teachers crazy. I spent a lot of time in his home and was always welcomed at the table by his Mom and Dad. He served as best man at our wedding and even loaned us his car for our honeymoon trip. He slipped me a note to look in the glove box. When I did, there was a cash gift to cover expenses of our trip. I just found out about the death of your wonderful brother.
Please know how much I adored Ron and know how he loved
his family very much. He was a wonderful man.
