RIP Bob. Years and years and a few more years ago I did not want my handgun to fail inspection again so----i tore the whole thing apart, side plate, spring, trigger, everything else and polished and cleaned it and there was no way--NO WAY I would fail. HA I had this! I put it all back together and could not pull the trigger. Tore it apart and put it back and still could not pull the trigger but this time I had one part left.. In a panic I took it to Capt Jim Tapocsi and Bob Ransom was there too. They looked at it, and the part in my hand and laughed. And laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and probably still laughed for years. I never tore it apart again. Lt (Ret) Ralph G. Levi
Rob was a full of life and always had a smile on his face. He was always quick to step up and offer help to anyone who was in need. I had to pleasure of meeting Rob through Maddy and envied the special relationship that they have always had. Prayers to all that knew and loved him, he will be truly missed.
Robert Ransom was a very kind man with a good heart. He was also a great co worker and Officer. He will be missed. Condolences and prayers sent to his family for peace and comfort during this tremendous loss. Also prayers to his Gregg co family .
