Rita Kubacak's Obituary
Rita E. Kubacak of Longview went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 30, 2002. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Monday, December 2, 2002 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Gavin Vaverek as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Rita who was born December 24, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA to Gaetano and Rose Ippolito graduated from nursing school in Texas. As a Licensed Registered Nurse, her great joy was in serving others and bringing happiness to all she met. Her tireless devotion, especially to the elderly and her family will always be cherished to those who knew and loved her. As a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, she was a volunteer at the Cancer Center as well as a chaplain at Good Shepherd Medical Center. Rita served as a coordinator of Perpetual Adoration Society at St. Mary?s and was a member of the Lay Missionaries of Charity. She was loved by all, never met a stranger, and is home now with her Lord and beloved husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Emil W.
She is survived by three sons, Mike and his wife Susan, Mark and his wife Darlene and David and his wife, Susan and her daughter, Rose Gay. Survivors also include eight
grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Kenneth Bargsley, Clay, Tony, Danny, Nathan, Katie, Carly and Karen Kubacak and one great grandchild, Emily Bargsley.
