Richard Jesse Arbegast's Obituary
Richard Jesse "Dick" Arbegast was born on October 29, 1930 to Lee and Calletta Arbegast in Parnassus, Pennsylvania. Mr. Arbegast passed away Thursday evening April 19, 2012 in Longview, Texas. Mr. Arbegast was a resident of Lake Cherokee for over 15 years and was a former resident of Gilmer, Texas.
Richard was a much decorated and received many commendations during his 25 years of service to the country in the United States Air Force. After his service Mr. Arbegast worked in administration for Dean Lumber Company in Gilmer Texas for 20 years before retiring.
His family and friends remember Richard as being a loving and giving father. Those left to cherish his memory is his brother, Lee Arbegast and his wife Linda of Spencerport, New York; Sister, Margie Malecki of Akron, Ohio; children, Brenda Beaumier and her late husband Bill of Cape Coral, Florida; Cindy Pauvlinch and her husband John of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Richard Arbegast and his wife Laura of Hallsville, Texas; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will be holding a private celebration of life service with the scattering of the ashes of both Richard and Nina Arbegast at a later date. Cremation arrangements where provided by LeRoy Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
