Dick was one of the most loving and giving men I know. I had the pleasure of working with Dick at Dean lumber. After he retired we had a little breakfast club that consist of Dick, Jodie, Kay, John and myself for about 10 years we met every month. It was always good when Dick won at Louisiana he insisted on picking up the check. All our conversations and laughs will be missed but never forgotten. I had the pleasure of working with Dick for about 20 yrs. I was young when I first started to work with Dick and I was a little afraid of him. You see - Dick ran a very tight ship! But as time went by - I grew to love Dick and to have a great admiration and respect for him. I was a member of the breakfast club Margaret Blair mentioned. We met once a month to catch up and shoot the breeze! And most of the time - Dick picked up the tab. He was a very generous, kind and loving person. He was a devoted husband to Nina and spoke fondly of his children. I am so happy I was able to see Dick at Nina's service. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
