Memorial services for Rex Bindley, 66, of Longview TX will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Triumphant Christian Center, 1308 Reel Rd., Longview, with Pastor Jan Simmons leading the service. Rex went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, in Longview.
Rex was born March 27, 1943, in Glenwood Springs, CO to William and Eleanor Bindley and had been a proud resident of Longview for the past two years, moving from Colorado. He was dedicated Christian, devoted husband, loving father, life-long entrepreneur, a Vietnam veteran with the US Marines, a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and a longtime pilot. Rex was a very passionate patriot and a true Texan at heart. He was a member of Triumphant Christian Center and loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife DeAnna Bindley; daughter Karen Hobbs and husband Rowdy and their children Mattie and Stryker; son Ryan Bindley; daughter Kristen Bindley, son Matt Baker; daughter Kara Baker; and sister Phylis Bindley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Triumphant Christian Center, 1308 Reel Rd., Longview, TX 75605.
