Wanted to let you all know that I'll always remember Polly. She was one of a kind! She never met a stranger & always had a smile on her face. I remember her from Temple Baptist Church when she used to sing with her brothers. They sang from the heart for the Lord. I'm Joe Boy, Robbie & Carrie Duncan's mother & they all thought the world of Polly, too. She will always be remembered by everyone that ever met her. She blessed a lot of people. Polly was a life time friend. We went all the way thru school together. I was blessed to know her again in our later years as we shared memories at our class reunion. She was one of a kind and will be remembered always with warmth in my heart and a smile on my face. To all of Polly's family: I have known Polly all of my life. Graduated from high school with her. We lived across old hwy 65 N in Eudora from the Ferrell's. I remember her mom and dad and all her siblings. Her mom could make the best teacakes and biscuits. Polly was such fun to be with, especially at ball games as she was in the band and loved it. And could bat a baseball over the fence.Always happy, always laughing making all of us happy and laughing. She loved her family so very much. I know you all are going to miss her always. I am sorry I could not be there with all of you to share your sorrow. But know that our Lord is with you and He will give you comfort. We send our heartfelt condolences to everyone in Polly's family. Shortly after moving to East Texas, I went to work for Lebus Mfg., and there I met Polly. She was such a happy, outgoing person. In later years, she and Bo became fixtures at Glenwood Grocery and we were again allowed to share her and Bo's wit and warmth.
