Peggy Myers' Obituary
Funeral services for Mildred Juanita Rucker PeggyMyers, 79, of Longview will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Myers died Sunday, May 16th, at her home in Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Peggy was born on August 16th, 1930 in Snow Hill, Arkansas. While living in Kilgore, she met and married Charlie G. Myers, JR in 1947. She was a full time mother, grandmother and friend. She proudly became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1976. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Charlie Myers; six children and their spouses: Charlsie and Ken Futrelle of Sedro Woolley, WA, Terri Thrasher of Longview, Becky and Mark Murray of Longview, Matt and Colleen Myers of Howell, UT, Larry and Leigh Myers of Alakanuk, AK, and Jay and Deanna Myers of Longview; 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
