I was so sorry to hear about Pauline, I was out of town on Saturday or would have attended the funeral. She and I played bridge together several times before she entered the nursing home. She still was an excellent player and a very humorous person. She will be missed.

I still remember the first time I met your Mom. What an impression she made on me that I can remember over 35 years ago!! She was a wonderful lady whom I was truly fond of and admired so much.

I carried Pauline's mail from 1983 until I retired in 1999. Having lost both my parents in 1969 and 1972 Pauline soon became like a mother to me. We enjoyed a lot of the same things and I spent my lunch break at her house many days. I will miss her greatly,just as I still miss my mother. I can't even imagine losing my mother. As we all know, dying is a part of living, but we can never prepare ourselves for losing someone so precious, our mother.
