Patricia A. Brewton
Graveside services for Mrs. Patricia Brewton will be at 4:00 pm Wednesday October 10, 2007 at Memory Park Cemetery with Dr. Phil Hook officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Brewton passed away Sunday October 7, 2007 in Longview.
She was born February 10, 1936 in Hemphill, Texas, daughter of Whitner and Melbaline Huffman Beall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Mack A. Brewton, her parents her brother, Michael D. Beall and Sister Sylvia A. Robb.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Craig and husband David of Texas City, TX.; sister-in-law, Barbara Buce and husband Carl of Longview, sister-in-law, Pamela Beall of Copperas Cove, TX.; also surviving are a niece, five nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mrs. Brewton grew up in Longview and was a graduate of Longview High School where lifelong friendships were formed. She retired from Amoco Production Company now BP Amoco after 28 years of service in administration.
She was a longtime faithful member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Longview and was active in many church sponsored activities until health issues prevented her regular attendance.
Deeply appreciated by the family is the loving support ?Pat? received during her illness with prayers, cards, food, visits, and many other expressions of caring. Also, a special thank you is extended to Hearts Way Hospice for their compassionate care.
Friends will be received by the family from 6pm until 8 pm October 9, 2007 at Rader Funeral Home.
