I'm so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. My grandmother passed away a few months ago, and she always thought very highly of Pat. She was a very dear friend to my Mammaw, right until the very end. I find a small bit of comfort in knowing that they are together again. No doubt sitting around gossiping like they loved to do. Mrs. Brewton was a wonderful person that will be missed greatly. I rented a house from her for years and enjoyed visiting with her. Although, I had lost touch with her she was always in my thoughts.
