I worked with Opal at Longview National in the 60's. She was always a pleasure to be around and to work with. I was sad to read about her death and amazed that she was 100. What a wonderful gift for her family to have her for so long. She is with her Lord and Savior now. Regards, Pat Parker
Linda, Bill, and family,
So sad to learn of Opal's passing. She was such a sweet and kind person. It was a privilege to call her my friend.
Love and prayers to all.

I am very sorry about the loss of a beautiful Christian lady. I met Mr. and Mrs. Gilmore when my dad became pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in 1960. It was such a special friendship that I will always remember from church and also at the bank. The family became very special to my family with years of wonderful memories to follow. A smile comes to my face when I think about sitting beside Mrs. Opal and Pat at church hearing them sing when Bro. Homer would be leading the music.
Please know of my love and prayers for each of you at this time. I am so appreciative of the pleasure to know Mrs. Opal. She loved the Lord and served Him so faithfully.
